By Steve Fisher

For Jed Garrett, "Captain Babyface" of the American Special Agent's Corps, his order are simple:  KILL MR. DEATH!

But who is Mr. Death? One of German's brightest chemists and inventors, he had grown weary of life and entered a monastery near Alsace-Lorraine.  But war came and the monastery was bombed.  Though severely injured, German surgeons patched him back together.  He was left horribly disfigured, and now, sworn to vengeance against the Americans, he uses his evil genius for German in the "War to End All War."

Author Steve Fisher, best known for his hardboiled work in BLACK MASK and in novels like "I Wake Up Screaming," wrote for many other pulps as well.  In Popular Publications long-running aviation pulp DARE-DEVIL ACES, he created the ten titanic tales of Captain Babyface.  For the first time, they are presented together in one volume.

Age of Aces Books is proud to announce the release of our second book, The Red Falcon: The Dare-Devil Aces Years Volume 1 by Robert J. Hogan. It contains all of the original Blakeslee illustrations and has been designed by the great team of David and Chris Kalb. Like our first release, Captain Babyface: The Complete Adventures, this is a 6x9 trade paperback and is available for $16.99 from Amazon.com. This is the first of five volumes that will be collecting all of the Red Falcon's appearances in Popular Publication's Dare-Devil Aces magazine. Volume 2 should be available in the Fall of 2007. Also, coming in July 2007 will be Ralph Oppenheim's The Adventures of the Three Mosquitoes. Who is The Red Falcon? Meet Barry Rand. Unjustly wanted for a firing squad on his own side of the lines and facing death from the Germans on the other! A man abandoned by his own country, but still willing to die for it! Along with his aide, the great African warrior Sika, The Red Falcon fights WWI on his own terms. Flying the blood-red crate they built themselves from parts of crashed planes, they are the strangest pair on the Front. And the most deadly. Here is the premiere volume of his exploits collected for the first time, including the first Red Falcon-G8 crossover,"Dynamite Cargo"! Stories in Volume 1: The Red Falcon, The Bat Squad, The Masked Drome, Hurricane Buzzard, Midnight Staffel, The Death Squadron, The Hooded Squadron, Dynamite Cargo

By Ralph Oppenheim

Journey back to an Age of Aces! Their familiar war cry rings out: "Let's Go!" And the greatest fighting war-birds on the Western Front are once again roaring into action - The Three Mosquitoes! Flying in their usual close V, the three khaki colored Spads were piloted by U.S. Intelligence's finest. In the lead Spad was their impetuous young leader Kirby, while flanking him were "Shorty" Carn, the mild eyed, corpulent little Mosquito and lanky Travis, eldest and wisest of the trio. These three men were always raring for action, always recklessly anxious to go out and match their wings against any odds! Although Ralph Oppenheim had never had a flying lesson, he created one of the longest running aviation series to grace the pages of Popular Publications. Here we present a trio of 1933 Mosquito adventures from Dare-Devil Aces: The Wizard Ace, The Cannonball Ace & The Midnight Ace. We have also included a bibliography of The Three Mosquitoes adventures which appeared over twelve years, through nine different magazines, and in over five dozen stories!
