As we roll out the auction service through Adventure House, we'd like to take some time before we do so to identify our intentions.

• We will not offer open ended auctions, similar to eBay.  We control the items, descriptions and shipping of all collectibles.

• We will offer our auctions with a nominal 10% buyers premium.

• We strive to make each auction experience the best, the easiest and fairest auction.

• We don't subscribe to the school of thought that each item has to be hyped beyond normal expectations.  We here at Adventure House has always subscribed to the notion that collectibles can be fun and rewarding, but we realize that they really are risky investment vehicles, but great keepsakes.

• Each bidder, must have their name, address and a credit card information on file with Adventure House, before we accept any bids.  All transactions (unless previously arranged) will be charged to their credit card upon the completion of the auction.  If you do not have a credit card, please contact us for special arrangements.

• Each auction has the same end-date, but unlike eBay, if an item is bid on at the last moment, a 5 minute extension of the auction time will be added to the end of the auction.  No sniping programs will be allowed.

• Shipping will be done by Adventure House, with an choice of options from the winning bidder.  Adventure House will charge a nominal fee to box and care for the collectible, and only charge the actual shipping charges.  We do not gouge on shipping.  Each shipment will have a tracking number that will be emailed to the winning bidder once the item(s) are shipped.
